Join MSU Extension’s 4-H Youth Development for its Chinese New Year! Global Education and Diversity Event from 1-5 p.m. on February 10, 2018 at Max Thompson Family Resource Center, 11370 Hupp Ave., Warren, MI 48089. Youth participants will learn about the Chinese New Year while experiencing a combination of regional traditions, such as the northern Chinese tradition of eating dumplings, southern Chinese dragon and lion dances, and the making of Chinese Lanterns. The program is open to youth who are ages 5-12. Register online at by Feb. 9, 2018 and pay $5 per person, or pay $7 per person at the door.
